Van Halen's "Jump" as an EDM song?? It just happened.

EDM (Electronic Dance Music) often samples older songs with remixed beats to get crowds dancing - and jumping. And this time, David Lee Roth and Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren teamed up to remix Van Halen's 1984 hit "Jump." Bascially, some different beats were added, and knowing EDM the way I do, I'm surprised the beats per minute weren't even a little faster. But it's pretty decent.

One thing I find interesting - Van Halen is a Dutch name, and Armin van Buuren is Dutch, too. Now I'm wondering if they remixed this over some Heinekens.

Roth performed this in Miami at #ULTRA2019 with van Buuren behind the turntables that aren't really traditional turntables. Roth doesn't jump much in this performance, and there's no Spandex - which at this point is totally fine with me.

So, wanna see David Lee Roth perform it with Armin van Buuren for a live audience that jumps around a lot? Of course you do. Here you go...

(I don't hate it, but I wasn't really "wowed" by it - but what do you think?)
