This weekend's Discover Wisconsin show challenges some amazing chefs to each take one type of Wisconsin cheese and create three different course dishes with it. And they knocked it out of the park! And lucky me - I got to try 'em all.
Our award-winning chefs include Nathan Berg of The Lakely, a terrific restaurant inside the awesome boutique hotel The Oxbow in Eau Claire; Luke Zahm of the nationally-recognized Driftless Cafe in Viroqua; and Adam Berg of Bartolotta's Lake Park Bistro in Milwaukee, one of the most amazing restaurants in the state - including beautiful views of Lake Michigan. Cheeses, respectively, featured Kammerude Gouda made by Ellsworth Cheese Cooperative at Comstock Creamery; Carr Valley's Glacier Penta Creme Bleu Cheese; and Widmer's Aged Brick (including their Aged Brick Spread!)
