"Weird Al" Yankovic gets his star on the Walk of Fame

After decades of being the king of parody songs, "Weird Al" Yankovic got his star on the Walk of Fame on Monday. He's part of the 2018 class, which includes Simon Cowell, Cedric the Entertainer, Neicy Nash, and more.

Here's the brief news report on it from the city near his college alma mater, Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California.

One of my favorite things Weird Al did was his Al TV segment on MTV, way back when they played music videos. In 1992, I happened to catch this on TV and never forgot it. It's only a few seconds long but it's a hilarious comment on Vanilla Ice and I'm so happy I found it on YouTube!

CONGRATS, "Weird Al"!
