The Cubs may have lost 2 of 3 to the Brewers, but they hit the jackpot by getting themselves some Spotted Cow beer (not sold outside of Wisconsin) and "smuggling" it back to Illinois. And they were caught!
Technically it's fine to buy the beer in Wisconsin, the only state you can legally buy it, and bring it with you to another state. You just can't SELL it in another state. A bar in Minnesota got busted for that not too long ago, actually.
Video of the Cubs' team bus shows some of the highly-coveted Wisconsin brew from New Glarus stowing away back with them to Chicago. Maybe they just needed to drown their sorrows in losing the series. Or they just like good beer. I mean, this is the state for it, right??
