Brewers to host "Sandlot" 25th Anniversary Night

The Milwaukee Brewers' video of "The Sandlot" (below) went viral and was widely loved after they hit the back fields of Maryvale Baseball Park in Arizona to re-enact their favorite scene from the movie.

Now they've announced that Saturday, August 4th will be a special anniversary night of the movie at Miller Park. Fans will join Christian “Benny the Jet” Yelich, Eric “Squints” Sogard, Chase “Tommy Repeat” Anderson and the rest of the Crew, according to a Brewers news release. After the game, fans will get a free showing of the movie.

On top of that, fans who purchase a special ticket package to the game will receive a limited-edition Brewers “Great Hambino” bobblehead, from packages that start at $22. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee.
