Looks like the famous Swiss singing style - also popular in Austria, Germany, in Ricola commercials and in my opinion with Shakira in some of her lyrics during "Hips Don't Lie" from a while back - will be something people can earn a degree in at the esteemed Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Luasa) in Switzerland. Lucerne will run a three-year bachelor's degree and a two-year master's, starting with the 2018-19 academic year.
Yodeling is a form of singing which involves wobbling the voice up and down in a rapid change of pitch. Swiss herdsmen would traditionally use it to communicate in the mountains; it was later adopted by musicians for its entertainment potential.
