Swiss university offers a new degree - in yodeling

Lucerne will run a three-year bachelor's degree and a two-year master's, starting with the 2018-19 academic year.

Yodeling is a form of singing which involves wobbling the voice up and down in a rapid change of pitch. Swiss herdsmen would traditionally use it to communicate in the mountains; it was later adopted by musicians for its entertainment potential.
