Harrison Ford might finally be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The word is that he's been tapped to play General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross in some upcoming films.
Ross has been played by William Hurt up to now, but he died this past March.
This is still unofficial, but several sources claim Ford will play Ross in "Captain America: New World Order", and then "Thunderbolts", where he oversees an anti-hero team sort of like the "Suicide Squad".
In the comics, Thunderbolt Ross becomes a character called Red Hulk . . . but there's no word if that's happening in the MCU.
