David Koepp is a screenwriter who was hired to work on the script for "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull". But when he read the existing script, he noticed something he did NOT like: The aliens.
He actually tried to convince Steven Spielberg and George Lucas to scrap that idea, but they wouldn't budge.
He says that of all the pushback the movie got, the most serious complaint was, quote, "We don't feel like aliens should've been in an Indiana Jones movie." And he agrees with that sentiment.
