The science is crystal clear...Covid-19 is on the DECLINE in Wisconsin

New reports of COVID-19 cases continue to decline in Wisconsin, based on the latest data published by the state Department of Health Services.

The MacIver Institute has done a great job of giving us some perspective:

#COVID19 cases in Wisconsin peaked on Nov. 17, with 45,005 new positives recorded over the previous week. Since then, weekly new cases have dropped 80%.

#COVID19 hospitalizations in Wisconsin peaked the week of Nov. 17, 2020 with 2,278 inpatients. Since then, hospitalizations have dropped 70%, with 686 inpatients on Feb. 2.

#COVID19 deaths in Wisconsin peaked on Dec. 22, with 423 new deaths over the previous week. Since then, that's dropped 57% with 184 new deaths reported over the past week.

Despite concerns that COVID-19 cases would skyrocket following the Thanksgiving holiday and Christmas and now possibly the Super Bowl, Wisconsin IS seeing a major downward trend in Covid cases, hspitalizations, and deaths.
