This week, the zoo announced the birth of a female snow leopard cub who will turn 2 months old tomorrow ( Saturday, July 11 ).
According to the zoo, she's keeping mom, Oyra, very busy!
Zookeepers say the cub is regularly nursing from mom and will continue to do so until she's a few months old. She will soon get her first taste of meat.
While no visitors are allowed to see the new cub just yet so mom and baby can benefit from "quiet time," the zoo says they look forward to showing her off more soon!
