I made a mountain out of a mole hill. Or in this case I climed down off my garage thanks to a my ladder; Let me explain.
I was blowing gunk out of my garage gutters on Saturday afternoon. Before I was done, I saw my kids go inside where my wife was.
It wasn't more than 10 minutes later, that I finished the job and needed to get down with someone, ANYBODY standing on the ladder to brace it.
Except, nobody came back outside after calling into the house. The windows were open, why wasn't anybody coming BACK outside? I left my phone in the garage because I didn't want it to fall out of my pocket to the ground below.
After 20 minutes of "HELLO, can someone come outside??" I noticed that our van was missing from our driveway. MY FAMILY WAS GONE!
After ruling out jumping off the roof and hoping for the best ( I'm not 23 years old anymore ) I ended up using the leaf blower to "hook" the ladder and lifted it up onto the roof and the result is what you see below.
Take that MacGyver!
