Here's just ONE example from two days ago:
8:15 p.m. Tuesday — A male caller met another male online and after knowing him for a week decided to give him his bank account number and password. The caller in the 800 block of Arcadian Avenue was told he would be "taken care of" and thought the other male would be like a "sugar daddy". “Unfortunately for the caller, the male was just scamming him. Unfortunately for the other male, the caller did not have any money in his account to steal. Since no money was taken there is no crime and the caller doesn't know who the male actually is anyways.”
Sigh.......
