You haven't spent a summer in Wisconsin, unless you've spent a week "up nort." Growing up in Franklin, Wisconsin, my family spent at LEAST one week after school ( I think my dad spent a month ) in Eagle River.
So many memories were made fishing, go-karting, eating ice cream, water sking etc.
In fact, just a few weeks ago, I took my family to Chippewa Falls to give my kids the same experience that I had when I was younger.
But what exactly is...."Up North?" The Dells? Lake Geneva? Is it relative to where you live? Would love to get your feedback!
