It was 10 years ago today that the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, died of an overdose at the age of 50.
Now, a decade later, after persistent claims of sexual abuse, many struggle with how to view his legacy.
YouGov.com conducted a poll to find out how we're feeling about Michael these days. Here are the results:
28% of people think Michael's legacy took a hit from the child molestation allegations. But 44% think it stayed about the same . . . and 12% believe it GOT BETTER.
Do we BELIEVE those allegations? Well, 39% of us do. But an even larger number, 41%, say they DON'T KNOW. And 21% say they don't believe he's guilty.
Now if you break it down between black and white people, you get slightly different numbers. 45% of white people believe Michael did it, and 15% say he didn't.
