Moustakas homers twice, Brewers win sixth straight Wednesday night

A three-run home run in the third inning and a go-ahead two-run shot in the ninth by Mike Moustakas powered the Milwaukee Brewers to their sixth straight win on Wednesday night, 7-5 over the Miami Marlins.

On the day after the Brewers lost their MVP, Christian Yelich, for the season, Milwaukee got a much-needed win to stay within a game of the Chicago Cubs for the NL Wild Card.

After a solid start by Zach Davies, Brent Suter pitched three innings of scoreless relief and Josh Hader got the save as Milwaukee got the victory.

The final game of the series is Thursday afternoon in Miami.
