Phillies rally to defeat Brewers 7-4 on Monday

After the Brewers went up 4-2, it was all Phillies the rest of the way, sending a trio of runners home in the seventh to claim a 7-4 victory on Monday over Milwaukee.

Lorenzo Cain had five of the Brewers' 12 hits in the loss.

Freddy Peralta exited in the fourth inning with the 4-2 lead, having given up seven hits but only two runs, and threw five strikeouts. Jeremy Jeffress gave up a two-run home run in the fifth inning to tie the game, and the rest of the bullpen allowed three more runs across the plate in the seventh as Milwaukee lost its second game in a row.

Game two of the four-game series is Tuesday night in Philadelphia.
