Can You HEAR The Difference Between Hot And Cold Water?

Well I thought it was just me.

I've poured a lot of hot water for things. My mother in law is English and when I pour hot water for tea, it just seems to have a certain sound. I thought it was a combination of the bubbles and the pouring of the liquid into a small space. On a cold day, it's an incredible sound because instinctively it seems to be the sound of warming up.

As it turns out, it's because the water when hot is more viscous. It flows better. And that sounds ridiculous because it's water. But it's true.
