Actual NFL football (albeit pre-season) happened at Lambeau on Saturday night as the Packers hosted the Houston Texans in week one of the shortened pre-season. Remember, that this season, there is only three pre-season games and an extra regular season game!
While the Packers had almost all of it's vets in street clothes on Saturday and the team has already announced the Aaron Rodgers would not play at all in the pre-season, I was still excited to see the game as we got our first look at actual game action from Jordan Love, last year's first round draft pick and QB of the future (and when I say future, I mean most likely next season). Remember, last year's pre-season was cancelled due to COVID and Love did not suit up for a single game...so Saturday was the first actual game-action since his last college game!
While it was clear the nerves where there, I thought he looked pretty good. Check out a game recap below!
