Packers offense lights up Vikings in 43-34 victory Sunday

It was the Packers' offense that stole the show on Sunday.

Aaron Rodgers threw for 364 yards and four touchdowns, Davante Adams hauled in 14 passes for 156 yards and two scores, and Green Bay piled up 522 yards of offense in their 43-34 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Adams' 14 receptions tied a team record for single-game catches, set by Hall of Fame receiver Don Hutson.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling had four catches for 96 yards and a touchdown, and missed two other big plays that would have added to his totals.

Aaron Jones ran for 66 yards and a touchdown, while the Packers ran for 158 yards and just under five yards per carry.

Defensively, the Packers gave up 24 points in the fourth quarter, when Green Bay led by two scores. Jaire Alexander had an interception, and recorded a safety on a sack of Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins.

Next up, the Packers will host the Detroit Lions on Sunday, September 20 at Lambeau Field, the first football game played in Wisconsin since January at the high school, college, or professional level.
