Multiple media outlets are reporting that the NFL will eliminate two preseason games for the 2020 season.
The NFL, which already canceled this year's Hall of Fame game, will reportedly eliminate the first and last weeks of this year's preseason schedule, and move the remaining two weeks adjacent to the regular season.
For the Green Bay Packers, this means the home contest against Arizona in the first week of the preseason and the road game against Kansas City in early September will be off the schedule. They would still play Cleveland at Lambeau Field and the New York Giants on the road in the shortened preseason.
An official announcement is expected Thursday.
