Jordy back with the Pack! Well, kinda.
Jordy Nelson is coming back to the Green Bay Packers on a one day contract so he can officially retire as a member of the Green & Gold! You might recall that after Jordy left the Packers after the 2017 season, he signed with the Oakland Raiders but only made it about half the season before he decided to hang up the cleats and retire. Jordy will always be one of my favorite Packers.
Talking Packers, the team is doing something it never really did under the former coaching staff...they're practicing with another team! All this week, the Houston Texans will be at Packers training camp in Green Bay while they conduct practices with the Pack before they play the first pre-season game against each other on Thursday night at Lambeau.
Today is also a big NFL fan day as the new season of Hard Knocks premieres tonight on HBO. The documentary mini-series follows Jordy's short-time time, the Oakland Raiders, throughout training camp as they get ready for their final season in Oakland before they move to their new home in Las Vegas.
