The legendary Eric Clapton did an AMAZING cover of Prince's Purple Rain during his performance at Royal Albert Hall in London on Monday night. Clapton also started the show by paying tribute to Doris Day, the Hollywood legend who passed away just a few days ago! Clapton has paid respect to the Purple One before...in 2016 he wrote a tribute to him upon his death.
Clapton's Monday night concert was his first of three that he's doing in London. Next he goes to Germany and Austria before coming back to the US for a series of US shows in San Francisco, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Dallas.
