Kim Kardashian Shades Lori Loughlin For Cheating Scam: It's Not Appropriate

Kim Kardashian is sounding off on the college admissions scandal that's captivated the country over the past few weeks. During an interview on Saturday (April 20) with CNN's The Van Jones Show, the host asked Kim how "somebody with your kind of access, how do you use it to help your kids but not abuse it — have you had that conversation?"

"If they couldn’t get into a school, I would never want to use privilege to try and force them into a situation that they wouldn’t thrive in anyway," Kim said, throwing a bit of shade towards Lori Loughlin. The Fuller House actress reportedly paid bribes worth $500k in order to secure her daughter's acceptance to USC, despite Olivia Jade's repeated, public claims that she wasn't interested in school.

"That’s where it’s not appropriate," Kim continued. When you have so many things that are presented to you, I want my kids to be kind, I want them to be as grounded as possible, and to buy your way into something just wouldn’t benefit anybody."

Kim spoke about hoping her own hard work and dedication to completing her college degree, as well as studying for a law degree, in her late 30's will inspire her three kids. "Having my kids see me studying, going into an office a few days a week, I have my backpack, they have their backpack, for them to see that I have my film career while I’m having make-up tests all over my arm while I try to read my flash cards, all this stuff — I hope they get inspired to know that they can put in the hard work," she said. "Even though I’m in my late 30s and just finishing college, it’s never too late and there really is no easy way out."

As for Loughlin, she's facing up to 40 years in prison for her involvement in the scandal. Who knows? Maybe one day she'll be able to hire Kim to defend her in court.
