Traffic Lights Outage in Milwaukee on Saturday!

There will be some Milwaukee area traffic lights out this weekend, hers' a not from the Milwaukee DPW.

TRAFFIC ALERT

Traffic Signal Outage Scheduled for Tomorrow (Saturday 4/13):

West Forest Home Avenue/West Oklahoma Avenue/South 43rd Street Intersections

Work scheduled for Saturday, April 13, weather permitting

In order to replace essential infrastructure, the City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works

(DPW) will be de-activating the traffic signals at three signalized intersections on Saturday,

April 13, 2019 between approximately 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The intersections involved are

West Forest Home Avenue and West Oklahoma Avenue, West Forest Home Avenue and South

43rd Street, and West Oklahoma Avenue and South 43rd Street. Crews will be working diligently

to complete this work as soon as possible. This work is weather dependent.

Motorists should be aware of posted STOP signs in use to control traffic. Milwaukee Police

officers will also assist with directing traffic as needed.

DPW appreciates your patience during this project, and advises the traveling public to allow for

extra time while traveling to and from this neighborhood.
