Today we have to say GOODBYE to Toys 'R Us. The 70-year old toy store that was a special part of all of our childhoods is closing the doors for good on all of its 740 U.S. stores. Geoffrey the Giraffe, the iconic 16-foot tall Toys 'R Us mascot, is heading from corporate headquarters in Wayne, New Jersey to his new home at Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital in New Brunswick.
95.7 BIG FM afternoon drive jock Hannah, FM106.1 morning show host, Shannen O and I said our goodbyes at the Brookfield Toys ‘R Us a couple weeks ago. It was fun, but sad.
