Safewise.com has released its third annual Safest Cities to Raise a Child in America report focusing on the 50 safest cities to raise a child and Wisconsin has more safe cities for free-range children than any other state—32% of the top 50!
To find the top 50 safest cities, Safewise analysts measured overall child-safety scores based off of eight categories, including the city's violent crime rates, number of Amber Alerts, school quality, and pedestrian safety. Here are the Wisconsin cities that made the top fifty with their rank:
