College is uber expensive nowadays. On the Ellen DeGeneres Show, 41 high school students from a Brooklyn charter school just got a huge gift: full scholarships to college. Done in conjunction with Walmart, it's the single biggest gift ever for the show. And hey, given the price of college, could it be bigger than when Oprah gave away all those cars to the audience?
The only catch: no out-of-state tuition, so they have to go to college somewhere in the state of New York. I'd pay the difference to come to Wisconsin, but as a Badger, I'm biased. :)
