Well, you can now add what I really have to call a staple of online life for the past 30 years to the list of gone but not forgotten web browsers. Microsoft for several years has been pushing people to their updated and more competitive offshoot of Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge. But as of last week, Internet Explorer now just redirects user right to the Edge.
As this article from Newer notes, Microsoft says "The retired, out-of-support Internet Explorer 11 desktop application has been permanently disabled through a Microsoft Edge update".
What ever happened to BING, is that still a thing?
