It was a showdown between two veteran quarterbacks for a spot in the biggest sports event in the world...our Green Bay Packers took on the Buccaneers yesterday afternoon at Lambeau in the NFC Championship game!
While it was not the outcome that we had hoped for, I think we should remember a few things...first, even though we didn't win, it was an exciting shootout! Second, I don't think many thought we'd make it to the NFC Championship this season with all the drama of the off season.
With all that's happening in the world, football might seem trivial. But watching the Packers every weekend brought a sense of normalcy back to might life in a year of heightened stress and uncertainty. Michaela and I and millions of others could escape into a game and for a few hours, we didn't worry about masks and vaccines.
