Even if you’ve never been to New York City, you have most likely seen photos of or movies that included the famous lions status out front of the main branch of the New York Public Library. Lately, they’ve been looking a little different as the famous lions are now sporting face masks in an effort to encourage New Yorkers to wear their masks to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.
