The other day, we were talking about a Vermont state representative who has introduced a bill to allow Emojis on vanity license plates. This so-called "Emoji-plate legislation" is currently working it's way through the Vermont State House.
So now, according to Emojipedia, a list of 117 new Emojis have been approved for 2020. Some of the new Emojis include Smiling Face with Tear, Bottle-Feeding Parent (that one is going to come in handy at our house with our 9-month old boy), Plunger, People Hugging, Olive, Tombstone, Roller skates, and tons more.
I'm pretty confident that pretty soon we won't need actual words anymore.
