Toss out your old dictionary, it's no longer up-to-date!
Back in April, the Merriam-Webster dictionary added 640 words and now we've got a few more to add to the list that originally included "Swole", "Unplug" (meaning to turn of your tech), and "Buzzy" among others.
Now we add the following to the list:
- Vacay
- Tallboy
- Dad Joke
- Pickleball
- Deep State
- Escape Room
- They (referring to a person's gender who identifies as non-binary)
- Haircut (referring to a reduction in the value of an asset, like "I took a haircut on the car I just bought from some random person on Craig's list").
