I'm 37 years old and likely part of the last generation that did not completely grow with spell check on my computers and phones and, pretty much everywhere. Despite this fact, I CANNOT spell at all. In fact, in typing this story I've already had to go back and correct some words.
These kids, however, need to spell check. The 2019 Scripps National Spelling Bee was FULL OF DRAMA and ended in an 8 way tie. After 3 hours and 20 rounds, all remaining eight finalists spelled their words correctly and were named co-champions. The process these kids go through in their heads after getting their word is amazing. Watch!
