DOC'S COMMERCE SMOKEHOUSE is holding a fundraiser this Saturday, February 23 to support the families of fallen Milwaukee Police Officers Charles Irvine, Jr., Michael Michalski and Matthew Rittner. The money raised will send the families of officers Irvine and Michalski to the National Police Memorial in May so they can see their lost loved ones’ names engraved on the wall. The fundraiser was planned prior to Officer Rittner’s death, but Doc’s says his family will also be taken care of once his name gets engraved on the wall at the National Police Memorial in Washington D.C.
Doc’s is offering a special menu from 11:00am – 11:00pm with all proceeds going to the “MPA Fallen Heroes” account. There will also be badges and t-shirts for sale, a 50/50 raffle, as well as an auction. Stop in before or after the Bucks game, the Circus or head downtown just for the benefit.
