The Doobie Brothers played a hot outdoor show at Breese Stevens Field in Madison in June, and now they're about to hit The Riverside Theater in Milwaukee October 9th! I had a chance to chat with co-founder and lead singer Tom Johnston about their shows, new music next year, if he's been back to China Grove, which song he knew would be a hit, even a Jesus question I jokingly said when I was a kid I'd ask the Doobie Brothers if I ever got to interview them. Who knew that someday I would?!?
