Monday was the probably best day for Badfinger in decades. Within hours after the 1972 hit "Baby Blue" played as the soundtrack of Breaking Bad's final scene, it became one of hottest songs online.

Spotify said streaming volume of the track was up an astounding 9,000% and the song had also moved to #1 on iTunes Top Rock Songs chart.

Tommy James & The Shondells' "Crystal Blue Persuasion" also received a popularity resurgence when it was featured in a montage segment of a Breaking Bad episode last September.
