Oak Creek High School freshman Zac Blohm is working toward his Eagle rank in Boy Scouts. One of the requirements is a community service project, and Zac has an incredibly ambitious goal! He’s working to raise $55,000 to install a new playground at Jefferson Elementary School in West Allis. The playground will be dedicated in his sister’s honor. Little Veronica was born at 34 weeks and died earlier this year from an apnea incident. So Zac intends to name the playground “Veronica’s Place.”   And as of October 1st, he was already nearly half way to his goal, having raised more than $26,000!
